Obligatory 'OMG this blew up' edit: Only posting this because I told my grandma that millions of people might've now heard of her. She just crossed herself and said she feels like she's finally reached an "I'm living in the future moment."

Edit 3: I honestly find it hard to believe how much exposure this got, and great questions too. Bica (from 'bunica' - grandma - in Romanian) was tired and left about an hour ago, she doesn't really understand the significance of a front page thread, but we're having a lunch tomorrow and more questions will be answered. I'm going to answer some of the more general questions, but will preface with (m). Thanks everyone, this was a fun Saturday.
