My cat saved a womans life
Yesterday after work I had to look for a laptop charger at the store since the night before my cat decided to use it as biting toy. To my disdain I spent about an hour looking for this particular plug but couldn't find it. Oh well, I'll just see if I can fix it with electric tape. As I leave I get on the phone with my girlfriend to let her know that I'm on my way home. As I get into my car I start to get onto the freeway when a dusty minivan cuts me off. I flip him off and continue on until I notice the minivan door is open. I was puzzled, maybe this is the reason the guy is a douche driver. All of a sudden I see a woman flailing her arms around signing for me to get help. At first I can't really tell who the person is because it's dark and she was so skinny that I thought she was a child but as soon as she starts to get my attention, the driver guns it down the freeway. All of my instincts tells me to follow this van. So I did. He notices I'm almost bumper to bumper since I'm trying to read out the plate numbers to the 911 operator, which was probably not a good idea, and exits the freeway onto the next street. The woman jumps out, half naked and gets in my car as I sped out of there. Her boyfriend had kidnapped her because he came to the conclusion in his drug phased brain that she was cheating on him and was going to take her to place no one could find her. I gave her my shirt and took her to her families house. When I started to drive home, I called my girlfriend again to retell the story, and at the end of it she laughs and says. "Huh, if Lucy didn't bite the cable you would've never seen her." And that's the story of how my cat saved a woman's life.
