Bethesda responds to bait and switch Fallout 76 collector's edition bag "sorry you're not happy, bag shown was a prototype and too expensive to make, not planning to do anything about it"
Basically people who bought the collector's edition were given a cheap nylon bag to house the Power Armor helmet that doesn't match the product description or the image of a "West tek canvas carrying bag". In the product listing to this day, it still says it's a canvas bag and it even looks completely different to what was delivered.
For anyone hoping that @Bethesda was going to do something about the "canvas" bag that came with the @Fallout 76 Power Armor edition. Bad news. @BethesdaSupport @BethesdaStudios #notcanvas #falseadvertising
Here's the email response from Bethesda
Updated the post with another email response I found. Pete Hines hasn't responded to anything on Twitter since the 16th of November so until we get an official statement, this is all we have to go on.
Edit: This was tagged as a rumor because the email was in dispute. There's another email posted by a Reddit user that is very similar and even if both emails are fake it doesn't change the fact that we were told we'd get a canvas (fabric) bag at point of purchase and we were given a nylon bag and it still says that it's fabric to this day
Update: I was just forwarded the "fake" email. I checked the source. It looks real. I'm even posting it so everyone else can see what I was sent. Messaged the mods to remove the "rumor" tag.
