I didn't get the job you guys :(
I wanted to volunteer for a group in my city; basically I would be assigned a kid in a neglectful home and be their court advocate in whether or I believe it's the best home for them or not. I'd visit and inspect their home life, talk with their family, doctor, teachers etc and make a report on what I see.
I believe the interview went well. We laughed, I showed that I really wanted to help a child in need, etc. But then I got the email saying I've not been selected. It really stings too. Their website and people whom I've talked to said they were desperate for volunteers.
