Security camera recorded 16 year old cleaning lady fully nude in my home. Cleaning service is threatening to call cops and stole a computer from my home.

(PA)

In my master bedroom I have a conspicuous security camera pointed towards an area of my master bedroom with doors to a closet with a gun/watch safe and a door to my balcony. I mainly have this because the balcony could be accessed by other people in my group of row homes. It’s not an area of my bedroom where my wife or I are ever undressed or anything like that, otherwise we wouldn’t even have it there.

I have a cleaning service that employs different people that access my home using a code to our front door. A Ukrainian woman cleaned our home yesterday, and brought her 16 year old daughter who came directly from school. They start at the top floor of the house (the master bedroom) and work their way down. The 16 year old daughter went to the master bedroom in the area that is under surveillance and completely undressed nude to change from her school clothing to sports bra/underwear and gym clothing so she could help clean. She was recorded clearly and fully nude.

When the women got to my office they saw the monitor for the security cameras and realized she would have been in view of one of the cameras. The cleaning people took the Mac mini computer which was displaying the video. The Mac mini is not even where the video is recorded to. It is recorded to a NVR, and two other places including a cloud service. The cleaning service is now threatening to call the police and refuse to return the Mac mini which is a newer model and cost over $2,500.00.

I’m concerned that I have some sort of liability here if I pursue the cleaning people for the computer back, and I have no idea what I should do with the video that was recorded. Im not sure if I should just delete it, or keep it to prove that it was in an area of my home where I don’t think someone should expect privacy.

Not sure what to do here.
